Greetings All,
May is going by quickly. It is hard to believe that we are at this time of the month. We hope the days continue to get warm and sunny.
We welcome Mr. Glen Moseley to our classroom as a student teacher from Cardinal Stritch University in Madison. He will be with us through the end of the year. We are excited to have him part of our classroom community.
In the classroom, we are currently working on division and processes of numbers in math. The students are also learning about exponential numbers, squares, and square roots. During reading, we are learning about adverbs, adjectives and making our sentences more vibrant. We will be taking the spring writing assessment soon along with our spelling assessment. Word lists will be coming home soon. In science we are studying ecosystems and animals.
Middle school forms need to be filled out and turned back in. The students visited the Middle school on May 10th. If you have questions or concerns about middle school, please let us know.
Upcoming Important Dates:
May 10th: Middle School tour
